Introducing Shareup
Written by Nathan

We are very excited to start sharing information about our new app: Shareup. It’s the easiest and fastest way to share any file with anyone.
Currently: AirDrop is flaky, online uploaders are filled with ads, and sharing an entire folder with a “drive syncing product” is too complicated. Shareup is the quickest way to share a file from any of your devices.
The three main features of Shareup are:
- Share anything with a link
- Send a file directly to any of your devices
- Receive files from anyone into your inbox
Share anything with a link
The primary reason we created Shareup is to make sharing files with anyone super fast and easy. The desktop version of Shareup runs as an icon in the macOS menubar. Drag any file to it’s icon and it will copy a link to your clipboard you can share with anyone in Messages, Slack, Whatsapp, or however you want to share.
Files shared through Shareup are accessible on all your devices, so it’s easy to resend a link to someone else, even when on the go. You can download any shared files to any of your devices and have them available offline when you need them.
Shareup links expire after a couple weeks, so you don’t have to worry about old files taking up space. Pro accounts will have the option to keep links active for a year.
Send a file directly to any of your devices
Sending files from one computer to another, or from a laptop to a phone, is frustrating. Drag a file to Shareup in the menubar, wait for the list of devices, and then drop the file onto the device you want. The file will be sent directly to the device and available offline. You’ll be notified when the transfer is complete and you can be sure the file will be there when you need it.
Receive files from anyone into your inbox
Every Shareup Pro account has an inbox link where anyone can send large files to you anytime. Share your inbox link with anyone, they can drag a file into their browser window, and you will be notified immediately that a new file has been sent directly to you.
That’s Shareup
